How to Get Started
At the Yoga Center there are no sessions or membership requirements--you just buy the unlimited package that works for you and come whenever you want, (watch our website schedule for classes or changes). No one is too old, inflexible or out of shape to do Yoga. Beginners are welcome anytime and would get the most benefit in any of the beginner classes (levels 1, 2 or gentle yoga). These classes are formatted to accommodate individuals of all levels of fitness and fexibility. You are always encouraged to pace yourself, rest as much as you need and have fun!
What to Bring to Your 1st Class
Bring water, a mat and wear comfortable clothing. If needed we also have rental mats ($1) and mats for sale. Do not eat for at least 2 hours before.
How Often to Practice
We encourage those just starting to practice at least 2-3 times a week. During your first few months of practice you will build a strong foundation through small incremental increases in strength, flexibility, and focus. Consistency is the key- and will create great results over time!!
